Digital: A Love Story

I played through a little freeware game called Digital: A Love Story, which is available here:

I really liked it. It's a story that'll stick with me for a while yet, I imagine.

Its execution was really interesting; it's set on the desktop of an Amiga-esque home computer in 1988, and is a story that unfolds through reading various BBS boards... looking for new numbers of boards to dial onto and read...

I'd recommend it to anyone who craves a spot of .hack or cyberpunk or simply anyone who is just very very nosey.

This is a little game made in Flash, it plays in your browser, and only takes 10 mins. I found it an emotional experience. A picture says a thousand words.

Last Scenario - Freeware PC RPG

If I was going to start playing a new PC game, I'd probably go with Last Scenario, which is a freeware PC game that just got "released" about 2 weeks ago. It's been made by one guy over the period of a year, using RPG Maker XP. Apparently he's changed most of the music, graphics, battle mechanics all to his own liking, and added a mini-game (called Hex), and it's professional-looking and although the story starts off standard and clichéd, it soon turns round.

Yes, it seems strange that the maker (one guy!) has announced it via the somethingawful forums.

No, I didn't find it via reading the forums on that site...
