Japanese video game English localisation news - 79

Featuring:

  • Ne no Kami - The Two Princess Knights of Kyoto (PC: crowdfunding)
Also, the VisualArts / Key visual novel "Harmonia" has been delayed.

Ne no Kami - The Two Princess Knights of Kyoto

It's a yuri VN, and Sekai Project are using crowdfunding again; this time on IndieGoGo with flexible funding so they take the money even if it's not funded. But so far it's nearly 60% there and there's a month to go, so that seems like it'll make it.

Kuro Irodoru Yomiji, the creators of Sacrament of the Zodiac, along with Sekai Project and Denpasoft are bringing the exceptionally beautiful yuri visual novel Ne no Kami: The Two Princess Knights of Kyoto to the West! Through this partnership, we want to offer both the all ages version to Steam, as well as a DRM free downloadable version with 18+ content intact.

Addendum: some very sad news at the bottom of the crowdfunding page, the lead actress in this game, who went under the name "Yomogi Mochi", passed away this year at the tender age of 30. Out of curiosity, I tried to find information but all I could find in addition to this dedication was a tweet with the precise timestamp of her passing, and something to imply she passed away from an illness in hospital.

Harmonia

According to the Greenlight page for it on Steam:

`Harmonia` FURTHER DELAY
26 MAY - VISUALARTS
We informed you already about a delay to Spring 2016.
Unfortunately, due to a further enhancement of the original Japanese script and sound effects, we decided to delay `Harmonia` once again. We cannot give you further details yet, but we try to get it released this year.
We deeply apologize to all our fans and will do our best in ensuring a high quality of the game.
