Arland Atelier Trilogy heading to North America in October

Source

It contains:

  • Atelier Rorona: The Alchemist of Arland,
  • Atelier Totori: The Adventurer of Arland, and
  • Atelier Meruru: The Apprentice of Arland

all on one PS3 disk. It's been out in Europe already, since March.

It'd be more worth getting if they were the "plus" versions, I think.

Rumours: PS2 emulation on PS4

Ape Escape 2, Dark Chronicle, and Twisted Metal: Black rated for PS4 in Europe: Source

Note: Dark Chronicle was known as "Dark Cloud 2" in the US. PS2 games getting rated for a PS4 release - could this be the start of real backwards compatibility on PS4? They seem too minor of games to be getting full remakes...

Bloodborne GOTY edition (PS4)

Weird Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden special edition 3DS bundle pack (Europe) on sale on the official Nintendo store

New Nintendo 3DS with Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden Pack includes a black New Nintendo 3DS with a pre-installed digital copy of Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden, exclusive Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden cover plates and a download code for the Japanese version of Dragon Ball Z: Super Butoden 2, originally released on Super Nintendo.

Very, very unusual for them to give away a download code for a Japanese version of a SNES game on a 3DS, isn't it? I don't think I've seen anything like that from them before.

New Fatal Frame / Project Zero trailer and release dates: Source

The horror title will launch on October 22 exclusively via the Wii U eShop in North America for $49.99 and on October 30 both via the eShop and via a limited retail edition in Europe. Chapter 1 of the game and most of Chapter 2 will be free to play. The rest of the game can be purchased via the eShop or an in-game menu.

I've taken a look, and those physical editions are priced at £130 on Amazon, which is about £80 - £90 more than I would expect a new Wii U game to cost. There is no mention of it on the official Nintendo UK store.

The Witch and the Hundred Knight: Revival Edition (PS4)

It's an update of the PS3 game. $39.99 for the base game, or $49.99 for a Ltd Edition available on the NIS America online store. Source

  • North America : March 1
  • Europe : March 4

Deadly Premonition: The Director's Cut - Classified Edition (PS3)

NIS Europe just sent me an email advertising this today. It's the Director's Cut version of the game in a special box with a bunch of special edition goodies.

Immerse yourself in the dark depths of Deadly Premonition with the Classified Edition's collectible contents. Dive deep into the creative process behind the game with a 30+ page hardcover art book, which features more than 50 pieces of concept, process, and final artwork.

Feel like you're part of the world, listening to the 25-song original soundtrack while you sip on your coffee and play a game of poker with the completely custom 54-card Bicycle brand card deck. Of course, you could always throw the soundtrack into a Walkman and wander down a creepy road all alone instead…

Makes no mention of the DLC voucher which is available in the US version of this same special edition.

Preorders in Europe open on 20th October 2015 at 12 noon (GMT), and the release date is 24th November 2015.

Preorders are already open on the North American NIS America online store
